Job Openings

DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA
Closures
All closures must be approved by the Fire Marshal prior to being submitted to TSA. As of last week, the Fire Marshal is saying that their approval process will take 7-10 business days from the date of submittal. Once the Fire Marshal has approved the traffic control plan, the project is then submitted to TSA. TSA requires up to two weeks from the date of submittal for approval. Therefore, from the day we receive your project, it may take up to three weeks for approval.

Lane Closures
Lane closures do not have to be approved by the Fire Marshal or TSA. From the day we receive your work order, we typically can obtain a lane closure permit in 7-10 business days.

After Hours Permits

They are also required for any work being performed on Saturdays prior to 7:00am or after 7:00pm. They are also required for any work that is to be performed on Sundays. Currently, the District of Columbia is requiring a letter on company letterhead from the building owner stating why there is a need to perform the work outside of the regular working hours. After hours permits take 1-2 days to process.

Once we receive your permit, we will fax a copy to your office. If you do not receive your faxed copy, please contact our office.

The best way to insure that your Traffic Control Plan and Permit is correct is to fill out a permit work order entirely and email it or fax it to our office. The more detailed information your can provide, the better. If you are on the road, or out of the office, we will be more then happy to take the work order over the phone, but we prefer to have the work order completed by the salesman. Please include your email address on the bottom of the work order so we can notify you of the status of your permit.
